ดร.ลีอึยมิน เป็นแพทย์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านวิสัญญีวิทยา และเป็นสมาชิกในสมาคมต่างๆ ได้แก่ Korean Society of Anesthesiologists, Korean Society for Anesthetic Pharmacology, Korean Society of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesiologists และ Korean pain society
นอกจากนี้ยังได้เขียนและตีพิมพ์เอกสารทางการแพทย์จำนวนมากใน Korean Journal of Anesthesiology
